The Community Garden is a place to get your hands a little dirty, grow some flowers for your home or veggies for your plate, and share some gardening tips with your neighbors.
Garden Plots
Garden plots are 20’ x 20’. You may pick your own plot on a first come, first serve basis. Each plot is $60 for the season (May 1st - December 1st). You can set up your lease in the Farm Market. You may plant anything you’d like in your plot, but please note that this is a one-season lease. If you choose to plant perennials, we do not guarantee access to your plot next year.
Water Access
The garden location has access to running water.
Inputs
Fertilizer, spray, or any other input applied to your garden must be compliant with the National Organic Program requirements. Use of any other input is strictly prohibited.
Fencing
The garden is located in a open field and is not fenced. We moved into a more wide open area to give four-legged friends less cover, but if you find you have issues with deer or small mammals, you may fence your plot.
Cleanup
Gardens must be cleaned up by December 1st.
Location
Just across the street from the Farm Market at 227 Pitcher Lane.
