Meet the Artist

The exhibition brings together portraits and landscapes that explore the intersection of family, memory, and place. Lofaro includes elopement portraits, high school seniors, maternity, and family sessions alongside farm landscapes photographed across seasons at Greig Farm.

Lofaro, a Woodstock native now based in the Hudson Valley, has been photographing at Greig Farm for over a decade.

9a – Guided Orchard Tour – Walk, Graze, Pick!  Sample the different varieties, get to know the orchard. Drive to red U-Pick Booths on Pitcher Lane. Look for Apple signs. Booths are to the right or east of the market when facing it.  We’ll direct you up to Wedding Hill. You can get ½ bushel bag ($30) at the start from your guide and fill it up on the tour – skip the booth line! Or pick any quantity & pay at the booth. Recommended Attire: Wear stable, comfortable shoes for uneven ground, sunscreen & insect repellent. Approx. 1 hr. Free- only pay for what you pick.

11a – 2p – Photos on the Farm with Photographer Scott Allen . Have a pro take photos of your family and friends on the farm, on a tractor or by the goats.  Walk-ins: 11a-1p, sign up at the Barn Taproom. Private sessions: 1-2p. Book @scottallenphotographyny or 518-466-1001

11a – 3p – Touch-A-Tractor!  Fun for all ages! Get up close & learn about our tractors. We’ll have a vintage W-6 (find out what that is!), a Kubota pipe carrier and other farm tractors for you to check out. Free.
