Working primarily with paper, drawing, watercolor, and silverpoint, she explores belonging, transformation, and the connections between people and place. Her work combines delicate materials with slow, repetitive processes, including hand perforation. Music has always been a big part of their life. From traditions to culture, they speak on topics such as the African influence to their Spanish heritage. From their indigenous background to their Nuyorican way of thinking, Daniel and Alessandra truly represent Colombia and Puerto Rico.
